About Me!
Hi, I’m Brandi, the creator behind A Wristed Development.
I’m a mom to two amazing girls; Sophia, who is 11, and Aria, my wild and spirited 5-year-old, and I’ve been with my partner, Bryan, for 23 years. Our life is busy, loud, and full of energy, and my business fits right into that rhythm. Most nights, you’ll find me working on orders after the kids are in bed or creating on the weekends. When I can, I include my girls in the process. They love helping pick out bead colors and combinations, especially for seasonal designs.
Outside of bracelets, I’m a big reader and run a Facebook group focused on building community through sharing and swapping books, making reading more accessible without spending a lot. And while I might seem put together at first, I’m actually pretty goofy and silly once I’m comfortable. My quirky side definitely shows up in my designs.
A Wristed Development started as something deeply personal. I began making bracelets as a way to unwind and manage stress and anxiety at the end of the day. It gave me a creative outlet and helped quiet my mind when it needed it most. What started as a simple hobby quickly turned into something more. And in a very short time, I had made nearly 100 bracelets.
With encouragement from Bryan and my best friend Rachel, I started sharing my bracelets on my personal social media. After taking the leap and participating in a spring vendor show, I realized I wanted to build something bigger. With Rachel’s help, A Wristed Development was created; along with a full brand and marketing vision.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing Management from the University of Akron, which has played a huge role in shaping how I’ve grown this business. It’s allowed me to blend creativity with strategy and build something that is both meaningful and intentional.
At its core, A Wristed Development is all about self-expression. I love working with customers to create custom pieces that feel personal and unique to them, whether it’s a name, a color story, or a specific vibe. Every bracelet is made with purpose, and every order is a chance to create something special.
